SPELLING BEE
The spelling contest is one of the most important events of the English Colombo College. The intention of the school is to motivate students to learn the second language by building communication, speaking in public, managing pressure and this activity allows children to learn the definition, pronunciation and root of words.

ENGLISH IMMERSION SCHOOL PROGRAM

In addition, students create the classroom environment related to the celebration and this is useful for developing teamwork, friendship, love and respect for others and for themselves.
The English Colombo College celebrates Thanksgiving to thank God for the many blessings of the year. Students enjoy a special meal together that often includes turkey, stuffing, potatoes, cranberry sauce, salsa, pumpkin pie and vegetables. This activity aims to bring students closer to the culture and celebrate this special season with not only a meal, but also some creative ideas.
